Hayes & Finch began business back in 1882 based in Old Leeds Street, Liverpool in the North of England. Some 125 years later, this 4th generation family business, with family members still actively involved in its day-to-day running, is one of the largest, most reputable, candle manufacturers in the UK, supplying to the church, domestic and retail trade. In addition to our skills as candle manufacturers, we have become renowned experts in the production of candle wick. Initially, Hayes & Finch produced candle wick to guarantee the consistent quality and burning properties of our own candles. |
However, it was not long before our skills as wickmakers were called upon by a host of other candle manufacturing companies both here in the UK and around the world. We now produce over 1000 different types of candle wick, catering for every conceivable type of candle product currently on the market.
Hayes & Finch is the only candle wick manufacturer in the whole of the UK and our candle wick and candle supply products are supplied to candle manufacturers around the world.

Consultancy & AdviceOur wealth of experience, together with a recently developed on-site candle laboratory, enables us to offer a professional consultancy and advisory service to our customers. For a minimal charge our experts will advise on all matters relating to candle production, wick suitability, burn testing, and product development.
